Visionarea's history
In the early 2000s, when Big Data and Machine Learning were not yet viable solutions for counting, four professionals from the retail and video surveillance sectors recognized the pivotal role of visitor counting and monitoring in commercial areas for the development of retail. Consequently, they established Visionarea-The People Counting Company, a specialized vertical company focused on people counting. In the years that followed, the demand for counting, traffic monitoring, and occupancy management expanded beyond retail, finding application in other sectors such as museums, events, offices, airports, and smart buildings.
Two of the founding partners, Edoardo Allorio and Cesare Fogola, now hold the positions of Managing Director and Sales Director
